Recently, we both had the pleasure of taking a short trip out to Edwards, CO for the wedding of a close family friend. Just outside of Vail, the setting for the wedding couldn't have been more picturesque. With the mountains as the backdrop for the vows {literally}, and with those vows being personally written by the bride and groom, the wedding was straight out of a too-good-to-be-true romance movie. As you might imagine, we both used the wedding weekend as an excuse to break out some dresses we don't get to wear everyday, and we even dug up our cowboy duds as well! The cowboy-themed rehearsal dinner was set on a ranch in the mountains, so we were able to get in touch with our western sides {which for us meant cowboy boots and the nearest plaid shirt}. But in true to wedding fashion, we donned dreamy, girl-y dresses to the reception that were dance-floor approved!
It was a memorable, fun and adventurous {we hiked to the top of the mountain!} weekend with family and close friends in the most romantic setting imaginable - the recipe for a perfect destination wedding.
Oh, and did we mention the bride, the decorations, the bridesmaids, the MOB {aka everything} looked stunning!
